The landscaping program is led by Pierre Dugan and offers employment to approximately 27 young people each season. They work on actual gardening and construction projects under skilled supervision, gaining real world employment experience. Street to Street receives requests from a variety of sources. When workers complete the program, they are ready for employment in a variety of skills in landscaping. The program is partially funded by income from clients.
The landscaping program provides services in lawn care, hedge and tree trimming, planting, fertilizing, mulching, leaf and yard waste removal, handyman services, painting, patio’s, decks, sheds power washing, painting, electrical, and plumbing repairs.
Street To Street is about a hand up, not a hand out.
